Sony’s new TV can give two pictures to two viewers

Sony’s new TV can give two pictures to two viewers
Sony has recently announced the development of a technology called dual-view, which allows two different viewers to see two different images.

I suppose that this could be used for when two different viewers want to watch two different shows, but they will have to wear headphones so they don’t hear each each others’ audio.

It would appear that Sony wants to market this for gamers. So if two people are playing a game with a split screen, the screen would not have to split.

At a recent press conference, where Sony showed off this technology, the company warned that “this will make your eyes hurt”. Clearly, some more development is required. Until then, the results are like 3D.
