Princess Bride

Last week beau decided that since we are heading to London in June we mine as well {twist my arm} head to Ireland and visit his college friend who works at Lough Eske Castle . I'm not going to lie, when I looked at the website I may have let out a little cheer of excitement. Honestly, the place is GORGEOUS, it looks like a dreamland. His friend has already reminded me many of times that is one of Ireland's number one wedding sites, hint hint, anyways....

Filled with excitement of staying at a beautiful castle {now a gorgeous resort with running water and all of those amenities that the true old castles lacked} I begin browsing the gorgeous weddings that have taken place at real castles. You would truly be a princess bride getting married here...or at least feel like one!

I had to post this picture of the bridesmaid. I mean really, if you are attending a castle wedding you must dress in style for sure!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everybody!

I had a fabulous weekend last week with my college besties, a four day work week and I am already SO looking forward to starting another wonderful weekend ahead! Beau and I are driving to the Keys after work tonight to run the seven mile bridge run in Marathon Key. Seven miles of ocean on both sides of you, should be quite the morning jog! Sunday I am getting together with a new blogger friend, Laura with Make Merry Events to talk about some fun future projects. In the middle of this I'll be browsing a lot of links {as usual!}. I hope your weekend is going to be as sunny and beautiful as I'm hoping mine is!

Kate Spade is doing it again...major 25% sale!

I saw this NYC map that I want in our home and I can't stop thinking of it.

Wow, this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty was beautiful, but the welcome reception and the post party were truly a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

I need to pick up In Style's latest color issue because I was in love with the bright Eddie Ross table. Also, I wish I was still in DC because I would so want to attend the design event that Eddie will be speaking at on Tuesday, click here to register!

And last but not least, how many times can I say how much I was loving the invite that Ritzy Bee featured yesterday. They are right, it is fancy but not shmancy! I think it is delightful. How much would you love receiving this in the mail.

Happy weekend everybody!

Wedding Wednesday ~ A Beautiful Video!

If you haven't had a chance to see Kathryn from Snippet & Ink's beautiful wedding photos, click on over here. I expected nothing less from the wedding blogger then such a personal romantic wedding that was captured by Sandbox Love on video. I had a some tears during the video for the happiness that they have, it is a beautiful video and a beautiful day. Every detail was well thought out, the venue was amazing, the intimate reception, the vows, it was beautiful. Congrats to the happy couple!

Wedding Wednesday ~ A Beautiful Bahama Wedding

Last night I was sent a link to some photos from a recent wedding that a past Syracuse classmate planned recently in Harbour Island, Bahamas. Stefanie and I were both hopsitality management majors at the 'Cuse and it is so exciting to always see what everybody is up to! The talented Stefanie Cove with Yifat Oren and Associates did a beautiful job creating such a special weekend for this couple. I wish I could have been packed in her bag for the wonderful planning of the event. The photography by Jonas Peterson really captures how beautiful the celebration was! From the brides luncheon, to the evening before dinner on the beach to the beautiful wedding itself, it is a wedding to remember.

Beautiful! Congratulations to Waverly & David! Wonderful job Stefanie! It looks like you are working in a dream of mine:)

Palm Springs Weddings...and my 1/2 day!

So today is my half birthday! Yes, 6 months from today I will be 30. When I was little my mom use to celebrate our half birthdays. How cute right! So very Alice in Wonderland like of her {remember she was 7 1/2}. Well I have been dreaming of getting away for my big day this Summer and can't stop thinking of Palm Springs California. There is something so retro and stylish about it. So dreamy and laid back, but still so hip and California all at the the same time.
The pictures I see of weddings and events in Palm Springs make me want to jump through the computer and be in the dreamy world. The Parker Palm Springs and the ACE hotel Palm Springs, I would love to be at either one. How beautiful are these photos below!
Happy Wednesday! I'm going to sip my latte and enjoy my 1/2 birthday!

What a proposal!

I saw this post on Green Wedding Shoes blog and I had to share the love! This adorable couple, Laren and Courtney, had an anniversary photo shoot that was so beautiful. I love that couples are taking anniversary photos now. Why not? There should always be a reason for a beautiful photo shoot.

So yes, the anniversary pictures were sweet {I especially love the one above where Courtney is blowing the glitter and looking like she is making a wish!} however, check out Laren's engagement video he made for Courtney. Get a tissue for happy tears that may come to your eyes. Laren created this video and got it played during one of the films that Courtney went to see at the Austin Film Festival and was able to sneak it in. It is so creative and beautiful and sweet and special and well, I could go on. I can't imagine getting this as a wedding proposal. It is beautiful! I'm a hopeless romantic, I love it! What a document of their love!

The Ring Finger Studio

After meeting the ladies from the Ring Finger Studio on Saturday I couldn't help but type a quick post about them. Once I saw the rings and looked at their site, sigh, I was in love. How sweet are their images! The studio specializes in engagement rings and weddings bands. So ladies and gentleman, if you are at that time looking for a ring, look no more. I hope that a purchase of a ring also gets you a pink cupcake included to get down on one knee with!

A pile of sugar and a pile of diamonds, lovely!
One of the many amazing rings they have created.
Owners, Chris and Tara in the studio. The Ring Finger Studio is a Knot.com's Best Wedding Pick and has been featured all over. Check out their website to see why I'm in love and also check out the Get-Away packages to inspire you to make a shopping trip to Miami!

Ask the Experts Bridal Trends 2011

This past Saturday I attended a beautiful wedding event at Villa 221 in Miami. The event was sponsored by Town and Country Weddings and had some wonderful experts in the business speaking. I had thought about not attending and staying at home but at the end of the day I am so glad I decided to go!

The handsome waitstaff kept our glasses filled with Dom Perignon through out the afternoon.

The view of the garden area from the gallery upstairs.

The amazing Ceci New York had samples of her work on display. Her pieces are so creative, I can't get enough of them.

I quickly fell in love with the Ring Finger Studio. Tara and Rachel from the studio had all of their gorgeous engagement rings and wedding bands glistening in the sun. They were so convincing that we had to see them on my hand....oh yes, I tried a few on. Their shop is a wonderful idea. More to come on this later..

Bridal Atelier Mark Ingram was there with some stunning models wearing even more stunning dresses!

Stella's Sweet Shoppe had an adorable table set up. I love Robert's logo and the brand he has created. His red velvet cupcakes were scrumptious!
Shai Tertner from Shiraz Events gave great advice on his business. Shiraz catered the event and I have to say...I was quite impressed. Beautiful, sleek, tasty food, loved it.
Ceci told us a little bit about what inspires her. Architecture and travel and so many things from our every day life inspires her wonderful business. If you haven't checked out her e-magazine, subscribe here.
The first table set up by Nuage Designs and Parrish Designs. I loved the wooden table and the succulents at each setting.

Oh my! The second table was overflowing with hues of pinks and purple. It was a beautiful set up! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Nuage linens and their customized pieces they create. Their product is like no other linens I have seen.

The white chic table....hint hint, my 30th birthday dream. A glamorous table set up like this, dinner under the stars with close friends!

Thank you for hosting the event Town and Country! It was a beautiful afternoon.
