The dawn of 2011 has flagged off yet another race for manufacturers in the tech sphere to showcase their ingenious creations. As the gates for this year’s Consumer Electronic Show unlocked the path towards numerous upcoming innovations, Lenovo has revealed four new IdeaCentre and all-in-one desktops from its kitty. Referred to as the IdeaCentre A320, B520, B320 and the Lenovo C205, these computing systems are touted to offer a sliver of their superior capabilities and performances at the aforementioned event.
Expanding the IdeaCentre portfolio, these three newly introduced models have been designed to unveil the next chapter of performance in their elegant form factors. Boasting of its ultra-slim design, the A320 AIO is said to measure barely 18.5mm at its slimmest point. Outfitted with a 21.5-inch widescreen display, the system flashes HD-quality videos while its high contrast LED panel technology enhances the manifestation. This device comes equipped with the 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor which wheedles a gratifying experience with the Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0.
“We’ve seen Lenovo’s IdeaCentre AIO desktop business grow 150% year over year – a significant achievement for Lenovo and powerful statement that consumers desire the unique designs and experiences delivered by our portfolio,” remarked Dion Weisler, Vice President, Business Operations, Lenovo. “The latest Lenovo AIO desktops round out our existing portfolio to offer the right PC for every individual and family that is seeking powerful performance with cutting edge features like touch screen and 3D capabilities, an HD monitor and a sleek appearance.”
The IdeaCentre B520 and B320 AIO desktops have been crafted to deliver advanced gaming and entertainment experiences. The former features a 23-inch full HD display while the latter flaunts a 21.5-inch multi-touch screen. The B520 is compatible with Nvidia’s 3D Vision solution and comes accompanied with 3-in-1 Mouse for leveraging efficient motion drive gaming. Users can derive the most out of the HWTV attribute of the B320 as it can be easily transformed from a computing system into a HD-enabled television set without turning on the PC functionality. Both these machines run on the 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor.
Sporting an 18.5-inch HD 16:9 widescreen display, the Lenovo 205 has been enclosed in a sleek and compact design. Its optional intuitive single-touch touchscreen panel is expected to trigger the doors for effective interactivity. Implanted with a superior quality web camera, microphone and integrated speakers, the product’s performance can be boosted with up to AMD Dual Core Processor E-350 with AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class Graphics. For further perking up its efficacy, the company has devised the AIO to operate with ATI Radeon HD6000 series 1G graphics processor.
Expected to hit stores in June this year, the IdeaCentre A320 and B320 will be available for $699 each. The IdeaCentre B520 and the Lenovo C205 models are anticipated to flash a price tag of $899 and $499, respectively.
