Floating Flamingos ~ oh yes, I received these as a gift, aren't they fun! A few of these in the pool with some cold beverages throughout the day and we might not leave the house.

Sunny Days Ahead
A few of my best girlfriends from college are coming to visit me in Florida this weekend and I am BEYOND excited for the visit! We have a lot to celebrate: an engagement, a baby on the way and a way too late 30th birthday celebration! I can't stop thinking of my weekend ahead!
Of course when I heard they were coming I started envisioning a little backyard by the pool breakfast and bright and cheerful images started dancing through my head.
~
Yellow Flowers - It is SPRING! Bright and cheery flowers have been decorating beau's and my house this week and will be cluttered around the house to bring my North East girls some sunshine.
~
Blue Acrylic Glasses and Yellow Linen - Like the combination? Breakfast table decor! I just got the glasses from Amazon and the chevron yellow linen from Spoonflower.
~
Florida Print - Three visitors coming from the snowy north, get excited! How cute is this print from Parada Creations on Etsy.
~
Can't wait for some girl time with some splashes of Florida Sunshine.

Nvidia GeForce 500M details and compare at CES 2011
The Santa Clara company’s official launch of the series of Nvidia GeForce 500, evolution of GeForce 400M. The leap in performance compared to the past should not be exciting. Find out the details.
Basically, the series of Nvidia GeForce 500M video cards are the evolution of the GeForce 400M previous range. From this inherit the CUDA chip same 96-core (except for the top model of the category with 144 Core) and the bus for the memory to 128 bits, just as happens, for example, the GeForce GT 435m. This, in essence, suggests that the manufacturer has not intervened massively on the technology, preferring to exploit the existing know-how, before moving on to solutions made by different production systems.
Compare to the previous series, Nvidia GeForce 500M offers a frequency of 672 MHz for the GPU, which become 1344 MHz shader and 900 MHz for memory. These, in essence, are the main technical data for the model said Nvidia GeForce GT 540M of the mainstream. Taking as a reference, however, the aforementioned Nvidia GeForce GT 555m, these values are equal, respectively, at 590, 900 and 1180 MHz but the memory bus is 192 bits.
Despite these circumstances, it is not a line to fail, quite the contrary. Remains to be seen, in fact, the large number of integrated technologies that make it pretty interesting even before evaluating its performance on the field, is not an impartial referee. The GeForce 500M series supports, as expected, DirectX11 graphics libraries and is therefore suitable to deal with multimedia and games without too many problems. There are also 3D Vision and PhysX technology, already known and seen in previous models.
To underline the support that Optimus feature, remember, manages activation of dedicated video card compared to the controller integrated into a computing system when conditions so require. Differently, is to safeguard the autonomy and reduced fuel consumption. The new line of GPU models include the GeForce GT 540M, GT 550M and GT 555M notebook dedicated to high-performance and GeForce GT 520M and 525M for mainstream systems.
Nvidia GeForce GT 540M, which is actually one of the most interesting models, should be available in the coming weeks on the Chinese market initially before moving on to other international markets. Have in common the same fate as the other models in the series. Simultaneously, the manufacturer also introduced the GeForce GTX 485M characterized by frequencies of 575 MHz for the GPU’s shader and memory work, respectively, to 1,150 and 750 MHz but the most interesting feature is the number of CUDA Core equal to 384 and the 256-bit memory bus.

Samsung LN46C600 LCD Television Review
Samsung has offered up plenty of televisions in all subclasses, so it’s always worth taking a look at them. You never know when you’ll be out looking at televisions, find a Samsung, and want to know if it’s worth your time. That’s why we’re looking at the Samsung LN46C600, an LCD that will have plenty to offer and do so at a good price, to boot.
The Samsung LN46C600 is a forty six inch 1080p LCD television that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate to reduce blurring in high speed images, the Wide Color Enhancer systems to improve color presentation, BD Wise to automatically adjust the relevant settings on your peripherals to get the best possible image out of them, two ten watt speakers, ConnectShare Movie to access content on thumb drives and digital cameras directly, four HDMI ports, two component inputs and one PC input.
Again, we’re short on the basics here–we’ve got a great picture and somewhat weaker sound quality (you’ll note there are plenty of augmentations to the picture but not near so much to the speakers), and you’ll get more than enough ports for your various needs, whether you need newer ports or old. Get this thing hooked up to even the most rudimentary of home theater speaker systems and you should be doing just fine here.
It’s a little hard to look at a television that doesn’t offer the next generation of capability, no streaming here at all, but it will still do a nice job of providing your current needs, whether they be older or newer, just not the very newest.
And you’ll even be able to find this one at a pretty nice price–in two different places you can find this at seven hundred ninety seven dollars, and that’s not a terrible price for a television slightly larger than the smallest of the big screens.
The Samsung LN46C600 isn’t the best you’ll find, but it will do a pretty nice job with most anything you’ll need it for. It’s surprisingly impressive for a smaller large television, and it will definitely put a punch in your home theater system.

Wedding Wednesday ~ A Beautiful Bahama Wedding
Last night I was sent a link to some photos from a recent wedding that a past Syracuse classmate planned recently in Harbour Island, Bahamas. Stefanie and I were both hopsitality management majors at the 'Cuse and it is so exciting to always see what everybody is up to! The talented Stefanie Cove with Yifat Oren and Associates did a beautiful job creating such a special weekend for this couple. I wish I could have been packed in her bag for the wonderful planning of the event. The photography by Jonas Peterson really captures how beautiful the celebration was! From the brides luncheon, to the evening before dinner on the beach to the beautiful wedding itself, it is a wedding to remember.
Beautiful! Congratulations to Waverly & David! Wonderful job Stefanie! It looks like you are working in a dream of mine:)

Red Stamp
I have fallen in love with the stationary site Red Stamp.com! For the new year Pizzazzerie posted a link to Red Stamp's 2011 printable calendars and after that, I was hooked. I recently purchased some personal calling cards. The service was wonderful, they personalized colors, fonts, etc. quickly and sent proofs within a day to view before printing. Their products are stylish and I love them. You know how I'm a stationary junkie, well this site found its way to my heart!
Engagement party cards. cute.
Stylish baby shower cards for the modern mama!
I chose this style for my calling cards. I customized them to be hot pink, light pink and grey. They turned out amazing and I love everytime I am able to hand them out! I absolutely adore the Iphone App! You can download it and send out fancy text messages or emails. Or for only $.99 you can send an actual print post card in the mail all from your phone. What fun to have a personalized card pop up in your text box!
Hop on over to Red Stamp and send somebody a fun card to add a smile to their day!

I have a crazy busy day tomorrow of RUNNING to do, so tonight and in between my legs of the relay

Canon IXUS and PowerShot Rely on Creative Features
Beautify images no longer need to be done on a PC through the help of graphics processing applications. These efforts can now be done directly from the ranks of the latest pocket cameras Canon IXUS and PowerShot.
In the midst of competition in a stadium that is more strict pocket camera, the quality of the images between the camera and the other one brand may not be too noticeable difference. Therefore, the enrichment of features Canon's choice as a factor of differentiation with its competitors.
In brand-new family member IXUS and PowerShot SX series, namely IXUS310 HS, IXUS220 HS, IXUS115 HS, and the PowerShot SX230 HS, for example, Canon sank a number of creative features.
One of them, features Movie Digest. With this feature, the cameras automatically record the video as far as 4 seconds before each photo shots. This feature also automatically will always do the storage of photos and video taken in one day in a folder at the same time making it easy to find.
"Movie Features Digest was first introduced as Canon's commitment to creating high quality products and pampering users in capturing precious moments intact without missing the beginning," said Merry Harun (Director of the Division of Canon PT Datascrip).
Latest generation of Canon IXUS and PowerShot SX also features HS System and the DIGIC imaging processor to record high quality images even in low light conditions, features Creative Filters which include six photo effects (Toy Camera, Fish-eye, Super Vivid, Posters, Miniature, Monochrome ), and features Smart Auto to detect 32 different scene.
In addition, the ranks of the Canon IXUS and PowerShot SX can record video with the quality of Full High Definition (HD) 1920x1080 with Stereo Sound.
Canon also launched five types of compact cameras the PowerShot A series, the A3300 IS, A3200 IS, A2200 and A1200. In the fifth model, there are features Live Control to provide a quick and easy flexibility in adjusting the brightness (from dark to light), color saturation (neutral to bright) and the tonal range (give the impression of cold to warm).
Except for A800, this brand-new series PowerShot cameras also offer the ability to record High Definition resolution video (HD) 1280x720.

Cookies and Cocktails
A few years ago I had the idea of opening up my own little bakery. The concept would be a place where you could pair your cupcake with a cocktail. While I still have that dream some day, right now I'm OK with baking for fun and pairing them myself. Maybe some day that dream will come true.
Inspired by the some day bakery, I am starting a new series called "Cookies and Cocktails". I thought that baking cookies would be something I could have around the house all week without feeling so guilty of having a whole dozen cupcakes staring at me. I always love a little cookie with a cup of coffee, so it was a good excuse.
Week One: Rosemary Butter Lemon Cornmeal Cookies and a Citrus Wine Spritzer
I used the cookie recipe from Martha here. To switch it up a little I replaced one cup of all purpose flour with one cup of cornmeal and I added a little lemon zest.
I had the cookies and cocktails in the backyard by the pool and thought what better way to pair them with then a refreshing wine spritzer. I used the recipe from Food Network as a guide but I used citrus flavored Pellegrino instead of seltzer.
Both are refreshing and light and will make you excited for the sunny Spring days ahead. We have had Spring like weather for a few months here in Florida but there is still a part of me that is excited to say it's Spring! Enjoy.

Plates for Kate & Will
36 days and counting until Kate & William tie the knot! Um, yes, I'm pretty psyched! I am not going to lie, I would totally LOVE an official royal wedding teacup to drink my morning coffee with. While on a search of what fun items are out there I stumbled upon these awesome plates that the British company KK Outlet is selling. For some reason I do not see these being official royal china, but I'm sure even Kate got a good laugh out of them!
Palm Springs Weddings...and my 1/2 day!
So today is my half birthday! Yes, 6 months from today I will be 30. When I was little my mom use to celebrate our half birthdays. How cute right! So very Alice in Wonderland like of her {remember she was 7 1/2}. Well I have been dreaming of getting away for my big day this Summer and can't stop thinking of Palm Springs California. There is something so retro and stylish about it. So dreamy and laid back, but still so hip and California all at the the same time.
The pictures I see of weddings and events in Palm Springs make me want to jump through the computer and be in the dreamy world. The Parker Palm Springs and the ACE hotel Palm Springs, I would love to be at either one. How beautiful are these photos below!
Happy Wednesday! I'm going to sip my latte and enjoy my 1/2 birthday!

{please help!} For the Love of Japan {please pass along}
The blogging world never seems to stop amazing me. A few days ago the ladies at Utterly Engaged and Ever Ours wrote a post about Friday, March 18th being a blogger day of silence for Japan. As of last night at 9:00pm, they had already raised $19,500.00, 300% more then their goal. All of this has been done by the amazing blogging community and it makes me smile. PLEASE HELP along with the others!
I will not be posting throughout the weekend to join in the blogging silence. The images in Japan are saddening and every penny can assist them in helping out the families over there. Just imagine the cold, wet conditions that they are living in. Most people have no food, no electricity, no water, no shelter and possibly have lost loved ones. I was talking to my mom tonight about the awful saddening things happening over there and after our call it made me realize, the little you can do spread the word and help, it all matters! Who knows how long this will take to assist with and everything is needed.
The images are sad. To think of the little kids, the families, the elderly, everything that has been washed away within a quick time is really sad. Please help the great organization Shelter Box. This organization was one of the first ones in Japan to assist. The organization helps out with large, green shelter boxes tailored to a disaster, they typically contain a dis
aster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items. Anything you can donate, money, your company has products to send along, send it. Thank you in advance!
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! Pass it along! SHARE WITH FRIENDS!
Thank you!
xoxo~ Becca

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The day where everybody goes "green" and is sporting green shoes, belts, bags, shirts, etc. I happen to LOVE the color green so I am absolutely a fan of the day! Here are a few things that have me excited about the day of day dreaming in green.
