Kno company just announced a Kno 14 inch single screen tablet and Kno 14 inch dual screen tablet in US market and will ship on Tuesday. Both of Kno tablet designed for education market and teachers and will targeting the digital textbook market. Kno 14 inch tablet is Similar to Amazon’s Kindle and will have an eBook reader that will allow students to read downloaded textbooks, as well as a stylus for taking notes.

Both of Kno tablet based on 1.0 GHz Nvidia Tegra T200 CPU, runs on Linux-based Operating System and comes with two version dipending on storage, the Kno 14 inch dual screen 16GB tablet will cost $899, while the 32GB Kno tablet will cost $999. The Kno 14 inch single screen 16 GB tablet has price tag at $599 and Kno 14 inch single screen 32 GB internal storage has price at $699.

Kno 14 inch tablet is boasts 14.1-inch (diagonal) color LCD-backlight glossy widescreen multi-touch displays support Full color spectrum up to 262,144 colors and Anti-glare film screen with hard coat surface, Dual-core ARM Cortex -A9, 512 MB on-board memory, 16GB/32GB internal memory, lithium-polymer battery that is expected to last for up to 6 hours of “normal campus” use and support AAC-LC, ACC, MP3, WMA 10, PCM/WAV Audio formats, MPEG-4, JPEG file.
