Asus Eee Note: change the name of Eee Tablet
The ebook reader change the name of Asus Eee Tablet in Asus Eee Note. Specifications remain the same note: 8-inch screen and prices between 300 and 600 dollars.

Asus Eee Note, you will call it the low-cost tablet made by Taiwanese manufacturer at Computex 2010. At least these would be the latest rumors circulating about this versatile device somewhere between a tablet and an ebook reader, a sort of digital notepad (not for nothing Digital Note is another possible names circulated in recent days).

The latest news are not only increased the mystique that surrounds the former Eee Tablet. In particular it is not received any confirmation on whether they can be presented two different versions, one equipped with a Linux base with an entrance fee of $ 300, and another Windows based with prices are around $ 600. Asus promises to dispel any doubt at CES 2011 will be formalized when features, configurations and prices.

The only profile that is well known on the screen, represented by a reflective LCD panel technology (there are no backlight sources, not LED) with 8-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. The display is in black and white with 64 levels of gray and has a sensitivity of 2450 dpi. According to Asus, refresh the page should also be up to 9 times faster than ebook reader ordinary.

Eee Note is therefore a kind of super e-reader with the added ability to take notes by hand and draw with a precision worthy of a tablet of good standard. These characteristics make it possible to distinguish it from pure tablet Asus EeePad persimmon which should reach the market.
