The new series brings together the Enermax Jazzmate pleasant appearance with the ease of use. Jazzmate is designed to accommodate traditional 2.5-inch HDD or SSD with SATA interface and maximum height of 9.5 mm. Users can choose between three different versions of the product. Besides models with USB interface and e-SATA, Enermax offers the possibility to use the new USB 3.0 interface for data transfer, can also drastically increase the speed of the flow of data transfer.
Soon, this interface can reach speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second. Those that work demands are often forced to use external HDD box to make back up data or store large archives of photos and movies, will certainly benefit from this increase in speed. The USB 3.0 standard is backward compatible with its USB 2.0 predecessor. Thanks to the vibration protection offered by a silicone case, Jazzmate the external box is ideal for travelers.
Its compact size (134x78x16mm) allows you to place it comfortably in a pocket. The assembly and replace the HDD or SSD is extremely simple: just need to unlock the house through a sliding mechanism and then install a new HDD. The frame is made of machined steel grid on both sides, ensures maximum strength and heat dissipation. In this way, because the HDD installed is cooled on both sides preventing the formation of “hot spots” that could lead to a malfunction.
Jazzmate will be available with an introductory offer also related to an entertaining contest, from mid January in USB 3.0 and SATA versions. There are no known launch prices.
