Sanyo has come forth today to not only announce the PLC-15000L projector, but also let us know it’s on sale. We haven’t told you about this projector inthe past which features a 2K HD 2048 x 1080 resolution, 15,000 ANSI lumens and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, it also utilizes Sanyo’s QuaDrive technology which reportedly improves on the typical 3LCD display technology.
According to our sources, it seems that the PLC-15000L will not ship with a lens so you’ll have to purchase that as well but Sanyo says fret not as they offer an expansive line up including a full HD offering capable of display a 17:9 image.
Below, Vice President of SANYO Digital Solutions, Sam Malik, comments:
“By setting a new standard for brightness in its category, and using our most advanced technologies that include QuaDrive, a long life DIOS (Durable Inorganic Optical System) engine and widescreen 2K resolution, the PLC-HF15000L performs superbly in even the largest presentation environments. We see it creating new opportunities for large format digital signage, even in well-lit spaces. Furthermore, its operational flexibility and features enable its effective use in rooms of virtually any size, with low operational and maintenance costs.”
Oh yeah, we forgot to mention the price tag. Around $45,000. Yep, not for the faint of heart.
