Chinese company, Meizu, the portable media player maker, has announced the release of its new smartphone, the Meizu M9. The handset will be available from December 25, 2010.
Its design is quite remind the iPhone 4 device, the Meizu M9 smartphone has a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels (use Sharp‘s panel that same screen of Sharp IS03).
New Meizu M9 smartphone has GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi/WAPI, a 5 megapixel camera, MicroSD / MicroSDHC card slot, and a 1,370mAh battery. It is supports for plays videos in AVI, MP4, 3GP, MOV, MKV and FLV format.
The heart of Meizu M9 smartphone is a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor and Android OS (version not specified). It is supports for GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS / HSDPA, 7.2Mbps 3G.
Cost of Meizu M9 with 8GB of memory is around $375, while the 16GB model is about $405.
