An escape to Paris

So today I woke up wishing I was heading on a little Spring Break on my own. I'm ready for a little get away....maybe to Paris? {dreaming} This video for Miss Dior Cherie by Sofia Coppola made me want to put on a pretty dress and get lost in Paris!

I have been following her blog For the Love of Design and have just fallen head over heels in love with her work. Birthday Month

September seems to be a month FULL of close friends birthdays for me! My birthday and beau's birthday are during September as well, it is a great month! May your birthdays be filled with sparkles, cupcakes and everything sweet and fancy. I have a little celebrating to get ready for on Thursday, not sure what it will include but I am excited anyway! I HEART EmersonMade

So I feel in love with the company, EmersonMade last year when I found their beautiful flowers on one of the 100's of wedding blogs I browse around. It has been love ever since! When I moved from DC to Florida my fabulous girlfriends through an amazing party and gave me this gorgeous huge big EmersonMade poppy pin! Some people may think it is too big, oh no, I find it just right!

The little flowers can get a bit pricey but I still dream of hosting a dinner party with a table runner complete with tons of sizes of the pretty linen flowers. (They also sell the EAT napkins! Cute!)

So I found out that they are now making clothes! OH MY! Yep, EmersonMade is sewing and you can pre order it now. This cute adorable striped shirt is so great with the flower.

Um yay, I forgot to mention...the model, that is Emerson. Yep, she is gorgeous. Her and her husband moved from NYC to a farm outside the city and run their business. They are both absolutely gorg and the photos on their site look like they have such a fun, creative business! Oh yes, the shift she is wearing....for purchase!

I'm loving these flower clutches. The prints are great! Perfect for Summer.

The way she took five flowers and made it look a necklace, adore. The adorable chicks on her lap, her pets. {sigh} adorable.

I just saw these items for the first time today! They have named them the Love Letter collection. Can you imagine being proposed to with this beautiful flower pin! So cute!

I think this picture is one of my favorites in the collection. Glam! Love it and it has made me now want a martini.

And here she is again, Emerson looking all adorable with the Beautiful Big Blue Rose. Just sitting outside dressed up all adorable with a cup of tea.

sweet gifts

I have been doing A LOT of browsing online for event photos and inspiration during work recently. We have been busy at my office creating proposals for upcoming events this Fall/Winter.

Target's Liberty Collection

Oh I OH SO LOVEEEEE Target! A few times of year they have great collaborations with designers for a fashion/home line at a Target price, not a designer store price. It is a FABULOUS idea that the wonderful company created. I still consider my Silver Holiday Behnaz Sarafpour skirt from Target one of my favorite things I own. So fun and if I would have bought it at Bloomingdale's it probably would have cost $300, the Target line was $30.

This month the wonderful British fashion house of Liberty of London has partnered with Target. The company known for floral prints is so perfect for Spring time. I am loving the whimsical ads So many items are already selling out. I must run to Target soon!

Cupcakes=Love

Yes, I have a little obsession with cupcakes. The little cakes are so pretty and comforting. Who doesn't want a pretty little cake as a treat. Well, yesterday when I saw Style Me Pretty's post on Enjoy! Cupcakes in California, my heart stopped for a second and started to beat really fast. I'm in love!

Enjoy Cupcakes is a great story of a woman who quit her day job to create her dream....a bakery! I have had this dream for many years as well. Seeing these pictures made me think...hmmmmm...event planning or cupcake baking;) Above is the Cupcake Trailer you can rent for events. How cute is it!

The bakery is connected to a wine tasting room with cupcake flavors like: Chocolate Blackberry Syrah, Pomegranate Meyer Lemon Chardonnay and Cherry Vanilla Merlot. Ooo la la, I would love a cupcake and a glass of vino!

pretty things

Recently there are so many pretty things out there that I am falling in love with. I have been told many times that I always "love" items or am "obsessed" with items. Yes, it is true, I find lots of things pretty and cute and I have lots of obsessions. I feel like I should start sharing my finds with all of my friends. Here are a few "pretty things" that I have found recently.

Obsessions#1 Necklaces from Roarke

Well they are a little over my New Years budget, but I just love them! I feel like I could wear them with a white blouse to work or with a black dress to an event. They are such pretty original intricate necklaces. I love.

Obsession #2 Kate Headley photography.

Yes, more wedding photography. I think I have mentioned Kate's photos before, I just keep seeing her photos and love them. Kate Headley, her pictures are so fun and pretty. She always seems to have such great detail shots during the events. So pretty.

Obsession #3 - Big Necklaces for Spring

I LOVE this new necklace from Ann Taylor. The Statement Mixed Media necklace looks so rich. Pretty! The Gold floral "Oops a Daisy" necklace from Kate Spade is also a big wish for me right now!

I'm dreaming of

There are less then 5 days until Christmas. When I was little I would get excited and nervous that maybe Santa didn't know what I wanted. However, Santa always pulled through and my American Girl Doll or Barbie always made its way under the tree.

This year I am finishing up my Christmas shopping a few days before and of course I keep finding items that I am dreaming of. One for me, one for you, my new method of gift giving. :)

I do not know the people in this video. Ok, yes, both the bride and the groom are actors, but to watch their wedding, so personal, I don't know them. However, me and my colleagues found ourselves watching the video mesmerized by the beautiful piece. I think I had tears in my eyes. It was a beautiful wedding and they seem so in Love!
