Looxcie Always On Wearable Camera Aimed at Lifecasters

Looxcie Always On Wearable Camera Aimed at Lifecasters
In case you didn’t know, lifecasting is the habit (or fetish depending on your audience) of recording (and then displaying) every moment of your life, no matter how boring or exciting. Looxcie has just made that one step easier with its wearable video camera.

The device is essentially a camera that never shuts off. It can record and store up to five hours of video and then can dump that video onto an Android phone or (with the newer version) and Apple iPhone. If you don’t dump the video, the older content is erased as the camera cannibalizes the space in order to make room for new content.

While the actual process is a bit weird, the camera itself functions incredibly well and does exactly what it is supposed to do./ Other applications might include DIY tutorials, or even sappy “I miss you” videos for couples who just can’t get enough of each other.

A word of warning to those interested in buying a Looxcie cam, the first version of the device was Android compatible only and there are still tons of those on the market. If you’re looking for the iPhamily compatible camera you need to make sure the one you’re purchasing is IOS compatible before you fork over your dough.
