Toshiba revealed 2 new netbooks with Harman Kardon speakers include. They are Toshiba NB520 and NB500 with 10.1-inch LED backlit TruBrite display (1024×600 pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio) and Windows 7 Starter (32bit) operating system.
Toshiba mini BS520 powered by Intel Atom N550 processor with memory up to 2GB DDR3, bluetooth 2.1 (can be upgrade to bluetooth 3.0), battery lige up to 10-hours with 6-cell battery, sleep and music via microphone port and weight 2.9lbs.
Toshiba mini NB500 powered by Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB of DDR2 (can be up to 2GB), 6-cell battery up to 8-hours life or 3-cell battery up to 4.5-hours and weight 2.9lbs (6-cell) or 2.5lbs (3-cell). Both of them has 250GB of HDD, 802.11 b/g/n wifi connectivity, VGA webcam with microphone, 3x USB 2.0 ports, 2-in-1 card reader, and ethernet port.
The stereo speakers embedded with Harman/Kardon features 2×2-watt output and Dolby Advance Audio technology and also include Toshiba Media Suite like Media Controller, Eco Utility, Life Space and ConfigFree. The dimension of Toshiba NB Series netbook is 10.3- x 7.5- x 0.7- (front)/1.4-inches (back). The price is unknown yet but will be rool-out on Q1 2011.
