The ViewSonic G-Tablet, featuring a 10.1-inch display and Android OS 2.2, is now available.
The G-Tablet features the Nvidia Tegra 2 platform with a dual-core Cortex A9 1Ghz CPU, GeForce graphics and a dedicated 1080p video playback processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 16GB of internal Flash-based storage, 1024 x 600 LED backlight capacitive multitouch screen, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a front facing 1.3MP web camera, and 3650mAh Li-ion polymer battery for “up to 8-10 hours” of battery life.
The device runs a custom user interface on top of Android and has access to an Apps Store.
The 1.5-pound ViewSonic’s G-Tablet sports built-in accelerometer, a micro SD card slot, USB slave, USB host port, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
