Google TV gets ARM

Google TV gets ARM
I believe that Google TV got off to a shaky start, and it would appear that Google is making some significant changes to make it better.

Google is planning on making a transition from Intel’s CE4100 to an ARM processor, which are cheaper than the Intel ones.

The cheaper boxes could result in some serious decrease in price versus the Apple smart TV. A Logitech Revue set box already costs $299, and perhaps this is what it needs to get higher sales.

Of course, comparing Apple TV with Google TV might be a mistake.
