JVC will start selling a new consumer camcorder in March 2011, the JVC GZ-TD1. The new camcorder is capable to recording in stereoscopic content (3D) and become the world’s first consumer Full HD 3D Camcorder.
JVC GZ-TD1 video camera is provides two CMOS sensors with 3,320,000 pixels and two lenses with 5x optical zoom. It is enabling video recording in Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The JVC GZ-TD1 camcorder has features Image Stabilizer, 3.5-inch swiveling touchscreen with 3D glass-free support, 64MB of onboard storage, and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot.
In addition, JVC GZ-TD1 is allows capture still images (2D and 3D) at resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels. It has also USB port for connection to a computer and HDMI to external monitor/HDTV.
Price of JVC GZ-TD1 3D camcorder is around $2,000.
